Poverty and disease have ripped open the social fabric in Kenya, revealing a lost generation of babies who have arrived in a world which cannot care for them. Abandoned in hospitals, at the roadside or amongst the rubbish, many newborn children born into destitution face disease, disability and death without safe hands to protect and nurture them.

The LCC Baby Home is dedicated to providing a loving, safe, and caring environment for abandoned babies in Kenya, including those infected with HIV. We are committed to seeing each child placed into an adoptive family and able to grow up healthy, educated and loved.

In August, the LCC Baby Home’s doors will be open to babies who need a safe place to be nurtured. In order to be ready to receive them, we are inviting friends to donate one-off funds to repair roof and flooring, and also to consider becoming a regular partner with the project. Estimated operational costs to cover baby formula, nappies/diapers, food, medical care, salaries, transport, maintenance, water and electricity is $US5000 monthly for 10 babies.

Please partner with us as we work to rebuild these precious little lives!

The LCC Baby Home is established as a branch of Limuru Children’s Centre, which is a Charitable Children’s Institution, Registration Number 000227
