Encounter Mara Naboisho joins The Asilia Africa Group

Encounter Mara

We are writing to announce that as of today, Encounter Mara is officially part of the Asilia Africa portfolio.

This is a transition that we as ACTS are extremely exited about as it will allow us to give greater focus to serving ACTS groups, while ensuring that the Encounter Mara legacy, the Naboisho Conservancy and the 500 Maasai families supported by this ground breaking model of sustainable tourism, all lives on.

We will remain closely connected to Encounter Mara and will continue to offer fantastic rates for volunteer and missions groups.

Asilia Africa have a very similar ethos and an exceptional reputation in the safari world. We have full confidence that our ACTS groups will testify to the Encounter Mara experience getting better and better! With the very special core staff team continuing in their roles at the camp, you can also expect to see familiar faces on your next visit!

The past four years have been hugely rewarding as founding members of Naboisho Conservancy and providing our guests life changing experiences at Encounter Mara. We are now thrilled to see Encounter Mara join the Asilia family and believe there is no better team to champion the bright future of the camp and the conservancy.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our past guests and partners for being a very special part of the Encounter Mara and Naboisho story – we urge you join us in our ongoing support of this remarkable safari destination, its phenomenal wildlife and the surrounding Maasai community.
