Our people, vehicles and equipment

ACTS believes that having the correct crew for your mission trip contributes greatly to its success and your effectiveness in ministry. All ACTS expeditions are conducted by responsible and committed crew, with considerable knowledge and experience in African missions travel. Our crew are thoroughly trained in every aspect of facilitating mission trips, and are there to assist and guide you through every eventuality.

ACTS operates a wide range of vehicles, so as to best suit the nature of each mission trip and group. Vehicles used include amongst others:

◦ Fully-equipped overland safari trucks (up to 31-seats)
◦ 4×4 landcruisers
◦ (4×4) minivans
◦ Coaches / Buses

For rural mission trips where camping is required (or preferred), equipment (if required) provided includes gas cookers, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, refrigeration, tables, camp chairs, all weather awnings, foam mattresses, and 2-person tents with built in ground sheets and mosquito netting.

Where necessary, ACTS can set up bush camps including ‘bush showers’ and ‘bush toilets’, which allows us to operate unassisted in virtually any rural area or ministry environment, even where facilities, clean water and electricity are non-existent.
